Applying Integrated Reporting in Practice

Integrated reporting is reshaping how organisations connect financial and non-financial information, requiring practical skills to apply the framework and communicate value creation clearly.

Why Integrated Reporting Matters

Integrated reporting brings together an organisation's strategy, governance, performance, and prospects into a single, coherent picture of how it creates value over time.

As financial and sustainability reporting increasingly sit within the same corporate report, understanding how to connect the two, and communicate value creation to providers of capital, is becoming an essential skill.

Key drivers include:

â—† Growing integration of financial and sustainability reporting under frameworks such as the CSRD

â—† Rising investor demand for a connected view of strategy, risk, and value creation

â—† Increasing alignment between the Integrated Reporting Framework and IFRS S1 and S2
